The abortion business has a huge political slush fund available to use in elections to gain victory for pro-abortion candidates to protect the organization and to fight against those who strive to defund it in Congress. But as Jim Sedlak of American Life League points out, Planned Parenthood has in the last decade relied on the courts and "friendly judges" to force its will on people.
"A lot of this has to do with the fact that President [Barack] Obama was in place for eight years and appointed a lot of federal judges at the district court level, at the appellate court level – and of course [two] at the Supreme Court level," he explains.
Sedlak says Planned Parenthood has relied on those judges – all who have a "progressive" bent and some who are judicial activists – to ward off legal challenges and protect it from its enemies. But now, says the pro-life spokesman, President Donald Trump is appointing conservative judges.

VIDEO: Down Syndrome community asks to be put on ‘endangered species’ list in face of abortion genocide
In Iceland, people with Down Syndrome have been virtually wiped out by abortion. In Denmark, people with Down syndrome also face extinction. In the United Kingdom, 90% of parents who discover that their pre-born child has Down syndrome opt to have the baby aborted. In the US, 75% of babies diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted. In Canada, it is also close to 90%. In Iceland, people with Down Syndrome have been virtually wiped out by abortion. In Denmark, people with Down syndrome also face extinction. That is precisely why the Canadian Down Syndrome Society (CDSS) is attempting to draw attention to the plight of people with Down syndrome via a daring new campaign, “Endangered syndrome”: They have launched a petition calling for those with Down syndrome to be placed on the "endangered" list, noting that that by the standards of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, the Down syndrome community qualifies.

Native American abortion worker compares abortion to abandoning an infant to be eaten by a wild animal
Samara Azam—Yu, director of Access Women’s Health Justice in Oakland, California, an organization that raises funds for women who can’t afford to have abortions:
“There’s a Native American nurse at an abortion clinic in San Francisco who put it this way. She said, “If you have twins and it’s a bad year, you have to put one in the badger hole.”
She compares abortion to abandoning an infant to be eaten by a wild animal.

Trump tries to ensure Affordable Care Act enrollees won’t unknowingly fund abortion
The Trump administration has issued a proposed rule change to enforce existing regulations regarding taxpayer dollars used under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a.k.a. ObamaCare. This is meant to remedy the fact that, as SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser stated, “The Obama administration… allow[ed] insurers to ignore the plain language of the law that said an abortion surcharge had to be collected separately,” allowing insurers to collect the “separate” abortion surcharge “along with regular premiums, effectively defining ‘separate’ to mean ‘together.’”
“Thanks to this trickery,” Dannenfelser adds, “millions of Americans have unwittingly purchased plans without knowing about the hidden abortion surcharge…. Consumers deserve to know how Obamacare pays for abortion so they can avoid having their hard-earned dollars used to fund the destruction of innocent lives.”

Leakers seek to gut Trump admin’s pro-life foreign policy
A new Trump administration policy defending human life in international negotiations by avoiding terms that promote abortion has come under attack this week.
A recent spate of negative articles revealing details of internal U.S. documents that give guidance to diplomats have appeared in Foreign Policy and Politico. The guidance tells negotiators to avoid terms such as “sexual and reproductive health” and “comprehensive sexuality education,” according to the reports.

UN committee proclaims ‘right to life’ means ‘right to abortion’
The “right-to-life” clause in an important UN human rights treaty must now include a right to abortion. So says a committee of experts charged with monitoring compliance with the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which most states have ratified.
The committee says governments must decriminalize abortion in all circumstances and “remove existing barriers that deny effective access by women and girls to safe and legal abortion including barriers caused as a result of the exercise of conscientious objection by individual medical providers,” according to the committee that monitors the implementation of the UN treaty on civil and political rights, ratified by the United States in 1991.

Lindsey Graham vociferously denied his boss would take the job.

National Right to Life Applauds Announcement from Trump Administration Regarding Pro-Life Policies in Health Insurance
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today issued a proposed rule to require health plan issuers operating in state and federal healthcare exchanges to separately bill for any elective abortion coverage and to segregate any collected funds.
Additionally, HHS announced a final rule change to the Affordable Care Act and HHS coverage mandate that would protect moral and religious rights of conscience.
Under President Obama’s administration, pro-abortion forces not only put increasing pressure on health care providers to violate their moral convictions with regard to abortion, but also backed efforts to force employers, including religious institutions and organizations that object to abortion, to cover abortion in their insurance plans.

The 2018 Elections, The Day After
Let’s be clear, all pro-lifers wish we had increased the pro-life margin in the United States Senate even more and retained control of the House of Representatives.
But that should not deflect our attention away from the bottom line. In the worst possible situation, pro-lifers came away with at least one if not three more senators willing to unabashedly defend constitutionalists, whether they are nominated for the lower courts or for the Supreme Court. That infusion of backbone will be huge when the next Supreme Court justice retires.
And as long as Democrats in the House are lead by pro-abortion-to-the-hilt Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.) or someone just like her, you can know with 100% certainty they will overshoot the mark. They are not only rabidly pro-abortion, the caucus now consists of a preponderance of members who operate miles away from the center of American politics.
There are reasons, not excuses, why we did not do as well as we would have wanted Tuesday...

Republicans currently have a two-vote Senate majority and a 235-193 House majority. Nine GOP and 26 Democratic seats were up for election in the Senate, and 91 GOP and 22 Democrat in the House of Representatives. Vote. The babies’ lives depend on it!
Tensions are high and emotions stretched thin. The entire country has been waiting for the results of the midterm elections. So very, very much is at stake.
While many people have already voted, most will still vote Tuesday. It is an honor and a privilege as a citizen of this great nation.
Regardless of what the pundits may say we don’t know what those results will be. For those of us working to save unborn children, the outcome of this election season will tell us how much harder or easier that task will become.
Polls show many very close races — from the state legislatures, to contests for governor, to congressional match-ups. Remember how polls in 2016 showed that Hillary Clinton would win. But the country got a huge, and pleasant, surprise when Donald Trump was elected president.
When current polls show a candidate leading by two percent, or show candidates tied, regardless of whether they are precisely accurate, they do tell us as pro-lifers that every ballot counts.
Dozens, probably many dozens of races, are likely that close.
If you have family members or friends who have not voted, encourage them to get out tomorrow. If you know of someone who needs a ride to the voting site, offer to give them a ride. And because there are so many close races around the country, literally every ballot cast is critical.
From the single-issue pro-life perspective, the 2016 election was a great start to getting this country back on the right track after eight years of the most pro-abortion president in our history. Let’s use this year’s election to continue along that path.
Our pro-life President needs a pro-life House and a pro-life Senate to offset determined pro-abortionists who have virtually the entire media and entertainment industry in their pockets.
As if we needed a reminder, more than 2,500 babies will die by abortion today even as the elections are taking place.

Texas OB/GYN who caused baby’s death is now an Illinois abortionist
In December 2013, Dr. George Backardjiev (pictured) used forceps to forcefully deliver baby Olivia Coats against the wishes of her mother, Rachel Melancon. The ob/gyn’s actions fractured Olivia’s skull and caused brain hemorrhaging, which in turn led to multiple organ failure. Four days later, little Olivia was dead.
In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the Pro-Life Action League has learned that Backardjiev is now employed by the Aanchor abortion facility in Glen Ellyn, Illinois:

President Trump: “We celebrate the life-changing act of adoption”
During National Adoption Month, we recognize the immeasurable love and support that adoptive parents and families provide to hundreds of thousands of children each year. We celebrate the life-changing act of adoption, bring attention to the millions of Americans who are eager to adopt, and express our gratitude to the families who have welcomed children into their lives and homes. My Administration also acknowledges the courage of those mothers and fathers who place their child for adoption. Our Nation grows stronger because of the love and sacrifice of parents, both birth and adoptive.
Adoption is a blessing for all involved. It provides needed relief to birth parents, who may not, for whatever reason, be in a position to raise a child. It fosters loving homes for children. It enables individuals to grow their families and share their love. And it fosters strong families, which are integral to ensuring strong communities and a resilient country. To secure the benefits of adoption, we must continue to assist families who are willing to adopt children in need of a permanent home and support the adoptive families already formed. We must also encourage all Americans to recognize that adoption is a powerful way to show women they are not alone in an unexpected pregnancy.

Abortion giant uses pro-lifers' money to fight them
"It's important for taxpayers to understand that they are funding Planned Parenthood at the tune of $500 million, and Planned Parenthood uses those funds for their very nominal health services and it is now freeing up other donations that they receive through private donations or corporate donations," says Alison Centofante of Live Action, the organization behind the new report on Planned Parenthood. "Those donations are going to their political arm."
To put it another way, Live Action says Planned Parenthood is weaponizing taxpayers' money against them.
"By us funding Planned Parenthood with our taxpayer dollars," Centofante further explains, "we are freeing up other donations to be used to support pro-abortion candidates that go to Washington and in turn thanking Planned Parenthood by keeping their funding stream going."

US bishops endorse heartbeat abortion ban, pro-life congressman announces
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has endorsed legislation that would ban most abortions in the U.S., according to the bill’s lead sponsor.
The Heartbeat Protection Act would require abortionists to first test whether a fetal heartbeat can be detected, and then forbid committing an abortion if the answer is “yes.” It allows an exception only for life-threatening physical circumstances (expressly rejecting exceptions for “psychological or emotional” health). Physicians who break the law would face up to five years in prison and/or a fine; women seeking abortions would not be punished.

Planned Parenthood wants you to stay home on election day
Elections have consequences. Pro-abortion activists know that full well after the election of President Trump. His efforts to advocate on behalf of America's most vulnerable citizens – unborn babies – have eclipsed those of any previous president in our nation's history.
The election of pro-life governors and state legislatures has resulted in over 600 pro-life laws enacted during the last nine years. Planned Parenthood knows that its federal funding is in jeopardy as long as pro-lifers control the House and Senate. That's why they're investing $20 million to gain control of Congress. This threat is real.

Planned Parenthood called out for ‘birthright citizenship’ tweet while preventing births in abortion
Planned Parenthood has waded into another American debate over immigration, inspiring pro-lifers to raise another wave of questions and critiques about the abortion giant’s priorities.
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump revealed he plans to issue an executive order ending the automatic granting of U.S. citizenship to children of illegal immigrants born on American soil. Both parties once denounced the doctrine of “birthright citizenship,” but today there is intense debate over whether the concept was ever intended by the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, and whether a president can eliminate it unilaterally.

VIDEO: New report details Planned Parenthood’s ‘political money laundering scheme’
Live Action has released a new report summarizing Planned Parenthood election efforts, dubbed as a “political money laundering scheme” to defeat pro-life candidates and elect pro-abortion politicians to carry out its agenda. Live Action News has previously documented that the abortion corporation’s political arms vowed to spend $20 million on their own in the 2018 midterms and $30 million in a consortium with other groups in a campaign called “Win Justice.”
“While Planned Parenthood and its political arms are separate on paper, because taxpayers are forced to give the abortion chain over $500 million a year, donors are freed up to direct their money to Planned Parenthood’s political agenda rather than to fund what nominal health services Planned Parenthood itself provides,” Live Action president Lila Rose stated in a press release.
