Sick children in Canada may soon be euthanized without parental consent
Doctors at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, known as SickKids, have laid out a “road map” for killing their patients, including cases in which they would do so without parental permission.
In the proposed policy published in the British Medical Journal’s Med Ethics, backed by the University of Toronto’s Joint Centre for Bioethics, doctors, administrators, and ethicists look at the “ethical challenges of providing Medical Assistance in Dying in a paediatric setting” and outline how assisted suicide would play out for children at Sick Kids. Their flowchart does not include discussing assisted suicide with parents until a “reflection period” occurs after the child has already been killed.

Senate confirms Judge Kavanaugh to serve on Supreme Court with vote of 50-48
The U.S. Senate Saturday confirmed (50-48) the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve as an associate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
“Today’s (Saturday) Senate vote is a victory for Judge Kavanaugh, and for the President, but also for the rule of law – it is a victory for all who believe that the federal courts should enforce the rights truly based on the text and history of the Constitution, and otherwise leave policy questions in the hands of elected legislators,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life.
“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley deserve the highest marks for their steadfast and courageous leadership during this contentious 13-week confirmation battle,” noted Douglas D. Johnson, senior policy advisor to National Right to Life. “Special commendation is due for Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), whose incisive public advocacy did much to dispel clouds of misinformation disseminated by many opponents of confirmation. In the end, every pro-life senator supported confirmation.”

POLITICS-GOVT After reviewing FBI docs, GOP senators vow weekend vote
A half-day after their Senate colleagues began reading over a confidential FBI report about Brett Kavanaugh, Republican leaders vowed Thursday afternoon to hold a confirmation vote this weekend.
"What we know for sure is this report did not corroborate any of the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh," Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, told reporters. "And the second thing we know is anything we did would not satisfy Democrats."
Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Judiciary Committee and the first person to review the document, stated there is "no hint of misconduct" by Kavanaugh in the report, The Associated Press reported. "So hopefully we're 48 hours from having Judge Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court," Grassley told reporters.

Wanted: Pastors ready to lead a Life Chain
Sunday is National Life Chain, which is held every year on the first Sunday of October.
Life Chain is a sidewalk prayer ministry where pastors are encouraged to lead their congregation to a designated sidewalk location and share pro-life messages.
"There we stand solemnly, prayerfully, in order to witness to the public but also to permit God to witness to us," says Royce Dunn, director of Life Chain. "In that regard, Life Chain relies very heavily on the pastors. We say Life Chain is church-oriented and pastor-focused, and who can doubt our urgent need for prayer today when we see our culture collapsing around us."

Before her death, Holly O’Donnell exposed Planned Parenthood’s horrific secrets
Holly O’Donnell, the former procurement technician for StemExpress who helped expose Planned Parenthood’s business of selling the bodies of aborted children, has died at age 27 from unspecified medical issues. O’Donnell, who was 24 when her testimony first made waves for Planned Parenthood, leaves behind a legacy of speaking up for the voiceless and standing up against the giant of the abortion industry. Many of her eyewitness revelations left us speechless.
We, the public, first “met” O’Donnell back in 2015 in the first episode of The Center for Medical Progress’s Human Capital series – the third video released by the center. StemExpress was exposed as a company that purchased the broken bodies of aborted children from Planned Parenthood and sold them to buyers at a large profit — a move that is illegal. O’Donnell states in the video that when she applied and interviewed for the job with StemExpress, she thought it was the position of phlebotomist lab technician — and StemExpress never said otherwise.

Supreme Court rejects pro-abortion challenge to Tennessee’s pro-life “Amendment 1”
The ultimate outcome may have been foretold January 9 when a federal appeals court panel rejected a pro-abortion challenge to Tennessee’s “Amendment 1,” the 2014 ballot measure that stated “Nothing in this [state] Constitution secures or protects a right to abortion or requires the funding of an abortion.”
It became official Monday morning when the Supreme Court declined to hear the challenge. Perhaps the High Court agreed with a three judge panel of the Sixth Circuit when it unanimously concluded “…[I]t is time for uncertainty surrounding the people’s 2014 approval and ratification of Amendment 1 to be put to rest.”

Gov. Brown surprisingly vetoes bill mandating abortion pills at all public California university student health centers
Proving once again, never say never, on Sunday outgoing pro-abortion Gov. Jerry Brown (D) vetoed a bill mandating that all public universities in California carry abortion pills in student health centers beginning in 2022. His reasons had nothing to do with the ethics of abortion but rather that there was no need, as we have noted in prior stories.
“According to a study sponsored by supporters of this legislation, the average distance to abortion providers in campus communities varies from five to seven miles, not an unreasonable distance,” Brown wrote in the veto letter. “Because the services required by this bill are widely available off-campus, this bill is not necessary.”

PROOF: Planned Parenthood aborts babies who could survive outside the womb
In testimony before Congress in 2015, former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards claimed, “we don’t provide abortions after… viability.” She was answering a question about whether babies who survive abortions should be given medical care and treatment.
But not only did Richards completely miss the law (babies don’t have to be viable to be cared for once they are born alive; the law simply states that they are persons and deserve care if they are born alive at any age), Richards lied – under oath – to Congress and the American people. A number of Planned Parenthood facilities do abort babies up to 24 weeks — well past the age of viability.

Pritzker blasts Rauner as not pro-abortion enough
Governor Rauner's choice to agree with the Democrat majority in the Illinois House and Senate that taxpayers should pay for abortions was what Planned Parenthood and abortion advocates wanted - but it just isn't enough. Monday, JB Pritzker attacked Rauner as not pro-abortion enough. Rauner hasn't come out against Brett Kavanaugh. He hasn't attacked Donald Trump enough.
Even though the governor signed the measure as they wanted, and Rauner and his wife gave over $50,000 to sponsor an April 2017 Planned Parenthood event, they're still not happy with him. They chose to endorse J.B. Pritzker instead (who also sponsored the Planned Parenthood event).

Over 500 Babies Born Thanks to Abortion Pill Reversal
For more than a decade, women have used Abortion Pill Reversal as a means to stop their in-progress chemical abortions and save their unborn babies’ lives.
Now, Heartbeat International, which took the reins of the protocol’s 24-7 helpline and provider network this spring, says the protocol has led to the births of more than 500 babies, with another 100 on the way.
“This new milestone represents not only 500 lives saved, but 500 women who were given a second chance to choose life and save themselves and their babies from a terrible fate,” said Jor-El Godsey, president of Heartbeat International, a global network of more than 2,600 pregnancy help locations. “Thanks to the prayers and commitment of all the medical providers, pregnancy help centers, and generous donors who make the Abortion Pill Rescue Network possible, 500 precious children are alive today.”

Senate Judiciary Committee approves Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination
Judge Brett Kavanaugh appears likely to be confirmed as America’s next Supreme Court Justice, despite inflammatory accusations promoted at the last minute by the media and Senate Democrats.
The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 11-10 Friday to approve Kavanaugh’s nomination, sending him to the full Senate for final consideration. Townhall reported last night that a Senate insider says Republicans have the votes to confirm him.

Abortion contributing to disturbing decline in birth rates
For years, the abortion industry has touted choice, saying women should be able to have children when they are financially secure and ready to parent. The call for “reproductive freedom” has been championed so loudly that now, “[t]he human race is approaching the point where it’s no longer reproducing enough to expand the global headcount,” according to a recent story in Bloomberg, adding, “In the world’s biggest economies — the U.S., China, Japan and Germany — it’s already happening or will soon.” The story points out the population crisis is underpopulation, not overpopulation, as abortion advocates have perpetuated for years.
Of the four largest economies cited as having a declining birthrate, three are notable for their high abortion rates: Japan, China, and the U.S.

Trump Administration and ACLU back in court in battle over abortions secured by teens illegally in US
The Trump administration and the ACLU were back in court Wednesday, the latest page in a lengthy story over whether the federal government must “facilitate” the abortions of unaccompanied minors who entered the country illegally and are currently in the custody of the Health and Human Services Department’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR).
The case at hand began in 2017 when U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan said the legal status of “Jane Doe” was “irrelevant” and that “despite the fact that she’s in this country illegally, she still has constitutional rights.” Judge Chutkan ordered the Trump administration to allow the 16-year-old teenager to have an abortion which she did on October 25, after a series of court battles.

Pro-life groups ask Trump to veto spending bill that funds Planned Parenthood
Despite two years of promises by Congress to defund the nation’s most profitable abortion chain, Planned Parenthood, the latest government funding bill that the legislative body sent to President Trump still contains funding for the wealthy corporation. Several pro-life groups have penned a letter to the president, asking him to veto the bill.
The letter calls on President Trump to keep the pro-life promise he made, which said he would “Defund[] Planned Parenthood as long as they continue to perform abortions, and reallocat[e] their funding to community health centers that provide comprehensive health care for women.” Now, they say, the rubber meets the road as this budget goes before the president.

‘Unplanned,’ Abby Johnson’s pro-life conversion story, coming to theaters
Eight years ago, former Planned Parenthood clinic director Abby Johnson (pictured) released a book telling the story of her transformation from abortion advocate to pro-life advocate. Now for the first time, Johnson’s conversion is being told in a narrative film, Unplanned, that will hit theaters in March 2019.
The $6 million budget drama was written and directed by God’s Not Dead writer-directors Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, and filmed under the working title Redeemed. Bolstering the creative muscle are producers Daryl Lefever and Joe Knopp, whose latest release, I Can Only Imagine, has grossed more than $83 million on a $7 million budget.

HHS feels pressure, ends contract with fetal tissue harvester
In a press release dated September 24, 2018, The Department of Health and Human Services announced that it is terminating its contract with Advanced Bioscience Resources, a fetal tissue procurement company which contracted with multiple Planned Parenthood abortion facilities to harvest aborted fetal body parts to then sell to researchers. ABR was referred for criminal investigation by Congress after a thorough investigation into illegal fetal tissue trafficking in the United States.
The HHS press release states:
After a recent review of a contract between Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc. and the Food and Drug Administration to provide human fetal tissue to develop testing protocols, HHS was not sufficiently assured that the contract included the appropriate protections applicable to fetal tissue research or met all other procurement requirements. As a result, that contract has been terminated, and HHS is now conducting an audit of all acquisitions involving human fetal tissue to ensure conformity with procurement and human fetal tissue research laws and regulations.

New Study Offers Financial Opportunity for Pregnancy Center Clients
Researchers at Baylor University are offering $50 Walmart gift cards to expectant mothers and fathers who complete their study over the next few weeks. Conducted by university professors, the study focuses on expectant married couples’ experiences in the workplace with the hope of addressing discrimination they may face.
“As parents ourselves, we were interested in the discrimination that women in the workforce often face while pregnant,” says Dawn Carlson, Ph. D., professor of management at Baylor University. “As such, we designed a study with the goal of understanding what women are experiencing in terms of discrimination both while pregnant and after they return to work, in hopes of helping organizations and policy makers to pursue changes that enhance women’s experiences in the workplace.”
But that’s just the beginning. Carlson and her colleagues also want to hear from expectant fathers.
“While following this path, we also became interested in the role of paternity leave for fathers and its growing popularity in organizations today,” Carlson said. “Thus, we wanted to understand the support needed by men during the pregnancy and return to work process of their wives, again so that organizations might provide a culture for support of this experience.”
Pregnant women in their third trimester and their spouses are eligible to participate in the study. Participants must both be considered full-time employees (30 hours per week or more), be 18 years or older, and reside in the U.S. Participation simply involves completing three online surveys, approximately 20 minutes each, and is completely confidential to the extent allowed by the law.
If both husband and wife complete all three surveys, participants will receive a $50 Walmart gift card.
This opportunity presents yet another way that pregnancy centers can connect clients to financial support, as well as a way to support their clients in the workplace.

Pro-life women say they were overlooked by Netflix documentary 'Reversing Roe'
A new Netflix documentary claims to show both sides of the abortion debate in the U.S., but pro-life advocates say the film depicts old stereotypes and ignores the many women leading the modern pro-life movement.
“In so many cases, it is women who are at the forefront of the movement to value and protect every human life. Sadly, that fact was left out of the documentary,” said Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life.
“Had it been included, viewers would have been given the chance to see that the pro-life movement is fundamentally pro-women, because every abortion harms both mother and unborn child,” she said in a statement to CNA.

Illinois facility halts abortions, continues actual ‘women’s health’ services
Until recently, Women’s Health Practice (WHP) in Champaign —home of to the main campus of the University of Illinois— had been doing abortions up to 24 weeks. But this morning we heard from local pro-life activist Renee Mullen, who informed us that WHP is no longer doing abortions at all! What’s more, all mentions of the word “abortion” appear to have been removed entirely from the Women’s Health Practice website.
WHP had been the site of 40 Days for Life prayer campaigns in the fall of 2017 and the spring of 2018, and Renee had also led a Peace in the Womb Christmas caroling event there in December 2017. When she contacted WHP to ask why they were no longer doing abortions, she was told it was due to “picketers” and that WHP didn’t want “picketers hurting their other business.”

Congress, pro-life leaders urge government to stop buying aborted babies
Recently, 85 members of Congress, along with a number of pro-life groups, have sent letters to the federal government in opposition of the FDA’s purchase of freshly aborted fetal remains for the purpose of research.
An emailed press release notes that Congressman Chris Smith (R-N.J.), Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (R-Mo.), and Congressman Mark Walker (R-N.C.), along with 82 other members of Congress, are urging FDA Commissioner Scott Gottlieb to put an end to the contract the FDA has with Advanced Bioscience Resources, a fetal tissue procurement company that was referred for criminal investigation by the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives following a lengthy investigation into the illegal trafficking of aborted fetal body parts. The FDA is reportedly paying $15,900 to ABR for “fresh human fetal tissue” used by researchers to make mice with human immune systems.

Effort to end taxpayer funding for abortions to be appealed to Illinois Supreme Court
The suit over a new Illinois law providing taxpayer funding for abortions will head to the Illinois Supreme Court, after the Illinois Appellate Court upheld Monday the dismissal of a lawsuit seeking an injunction against the measure.
Thomas More Society filed the suit on behalf of hundreds of thousands of Illinois taxpayers, seeking to stop the bill previously known as “House Bill 40” in December 2017. The suit alleges that the Balanced Budget requirement of the Illinois Constitution prohibits the abortion funding, because the General Assembly has not estimated funds available, and that abortion claims from before June 1 are not valid under the Illinois Constitution’s Effective Date of Laws section, which prohibits laws passed after the conclusion of the General Assembly’s regular session from becoming effective before the following June 1. In this case June 1, 2018.

A Bill Allowing College Campus Abortions Shows Reckless Disregard for Young Women
SB 320—deceptively titled the “College Student Right to Access Act”—would require public universities with on-campus student health centers to provide abortion pills to young college-aged women by January 1, 2022. If signed, California would be the first state to require access to chemical abortions on-campus, and abortion activists will make SB 320 model legislation for the rest of the country.
Legal abortion has created a pathway for bills like SB 320 that try to reinforce the idea that abortion is healthcare. Elective abortion—the taking of innocent unborn life—should never be considered healthcare, and if anything, legislation like SB 320 shows a reckless disregard for the health of young women and presumes that education and motherhood are not compatible.

The abortion industry is now pushing dangerous home abortions
When the abortion industry speaks about women dying from “home abortions”, they leave out the fact that historically, they were the ones lined up to assist women in obtaining illegal abortions. Today, the trend seems to be continuing. “Abortion AMA: Can I give myself an abortion?” published weeks ago by Bustle and written by Danielle Campoamor, points out that even though abortion is legal in the US, groups like Women Help Women are advising women on “self managed abortions.”
A June 2018 BBC article reported, “By buying pills online and sharing medical advice through WhatsApp groups, women are increasingly turning to technology to sidestep legal barriers to abortion.” Women on Web, an international group that helps women obtain illegal abortions, suggests women lie about complications and tell the doctors they had a miscarriage instead. Despite warnings against purchasing drugs online, activists Francine Coeytaux and Victoria Nichols created the website, PlanC, to push dangerous home abortions.

Even at Planned Parenthood, legal abortion kills and hurts women
Newly chosen Planned Parenthood president Dr. Leana Wen claims that as an emergency room physician, she saw a patient die from an at-home abortion. In the video announcing her as Planned Parenthood’s new head, Wen says, “I remember seeing a young woman lying on a stretcher pulseless and unresponsive. Because of a home abortion. Because she was too scared to seek medical care. I did everything I could to resuscitate her, but she died….” Wen then speaks glowingly of her new employer, saying, “There is no more important time than now. And no more important organization than Planned Parenthood.” However, Planned Parenthood, Dr. Wen’s new employer, actually advocates for home abortions and making abortion legal hasn’t made it safe. Not even at Planned Parenthood.
No matter what, any death (mother or child) from abortion (legal or illegal) is tragic. And preventable. But most of us would object to the idea that no organization on the planet is more important than Planned Parenthood. We may never truly know how many women are dying or injured from so-called “safe and legal” abortions initiated by Planned Parenthood (or other abortion providers), either chemically or surgically, because only half of U.S. states are even required to report abortion complications. Planned Parenthood is the number one abortion provider in the nation, committing more than 320,000 abortions every year, by its own count. Along with that, legal abortion at the abortion corporation has harmed plenty of women — women just like the one Dr. Wen saw in the emergency room.

Even an ‘early abortion’ kills a human being… a remarkably developed one
Pro–abortion feminist Jessica Valenti wrote about her two abortions in her book, Sex Object. She had her first abortion in her 20s at a private abortion facility, for which she paid over $1,000. She spent this money because she did not want to wait in the waiting room with other women, and the abortion facility provided her with a cup of tea right before they killed her baby. It was an early abortion, which doesn’t frequently happen.
The nurse at the abortion facility told Valenti that it was best for her not to come in too soon, because an early abortion is not often successful, and the procedure might have to be repeated. In fact, the first attempt at an abortion missed the baby, and Valenti did have to come in for second procedure.

In two years, Iowa flips from ‘worse than New York State’ to pro-life
Pro-life advocacy group Life Right Action notes on its website, “In 2010, Iowa had 29 Planned Parenthood locations – most selling dangerous webcam abortions.” Today, only eight remain. And the group shares an encouraging list of other pro-life advances made in the state in the past several years, which has caused the state to “flip” from being one of the most pro-choice to one of the most pro-life in the nation. LRA’s Jennifer Bowen notes that in the past two years alone, many changes have come, writing, “In November 2016, 93 of 99 Iowa counties voted against the pro-abortion presidential candidate, retired 6 pro-abortion senators; flipping the Iowa Senate and maintaining the pro-life House.” She adds:
This resulted in the passage of an historic amount of pro-life legislation in 2017-2018, Iowa moved from “worse than New York State” to one of the most pro-life states in the nation in just two years with the passage of:
-The 20 Week Abortion Ban
-A 72-hour waiting period before an abortion*
-The defunding of abortion providers in our State Family Planning budget
-A first-of-its-kind Safe Haven Expansion Law
-An important ban on the trafficking of unborn baby parts
-The Fetal Heartbeat Bill**
-And the rejection of the Iowa Supreme Court decision allowing parents to sue a doctor for wrongful birth – wrongful life.

Despite skewed polls on Roe, new poll proves majority still against abortion
At National Review, Dr. Michael New notes the number of polls that have analyzed Americans’ views on whether Roe v. Wade should remain the law of the land. The problem with those polls is that most, if not all, either didn’t correctly explain what Roe actually did, or explained it incorrectly. (One company was even forced to walk back its poll for telling respondents that overturning Roe v. Wade would make abortion illegal — a complete untruth — rather than returning the decision to individual states to set their own laws on the matter, just as they did prior to Roe.) The best way to tell how Americans feel about abortion is to ask them not about Roe v. Wade, but about abortion itself, says New.
But a poll from Hill.TV and HarrisX, released last week, asked 1000 registered voters “about circumstances in which abortion should be legal.” And as you might imagine, the results were very different than what Roe v. Wade approval polls have purported to show.

VIDEO: New Planned Parenthood head spins abortion as ‘health care,’ dodges fact-check on ‘The View’
Newly-minted Planned Parenthood president Leana Wen opened the discussion on 'The View' by hailing the United States’ largest abortion provider as “an organization that for the last 100 years has done more for women’s health than any other.” She repeated the claim from her introductory video that Planned Parenthood supplied her poor family with “basic medical services like cancer screening and family planning” as new immigrants from China.
“And I’m taking on this role in part because I’m a new mother myself. I have a baby who just turned one, and nothing has been more clarifying for me than being a parent,” Wen added. “Because it clarifies my values and what it is that I want to fight for. And what I want to fight for is the same access to health care that everybody should have, that health care should be understood as a human right.” Nobody on the panel asked her to explain how raising a baby reinforced her devotion to an organization that aborts babies.

UN disability committee: Abortion ‘prerequisite’ for ‘safeguarding women’s human rights’
The Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) monitor compliance with their respective human rights treaties by nations who have ratified them. Neither treaty, nor any other global human rights treaty, mentions abortion explicitly, but for decades, treaty monitoring bodies have exerted nonbinding pressure on UN member states to liberalize their abortion laws.
That the committees on the rights of women and persons with disabilities joined together to issue the statement was notable, as there have recently been disputes between UN human rights experts as to whether a prenatal diagnosis of a disability should be considered as a justification for abortion in law. Earlier this year, an event at the UN highlighted the "prenatal genocide" of children with Down Syndrome by abortion.
Senate Judiciary vote on Kavanaugh set for September 20, pro-abortion Democrats continue to “slime” Judge Kavanaugh
While he ought to be the next Supreme Court justice replacing Anthony Kennedy and we trust will be, there was (and is) plenty of time for pro-abortion Democrats to attempt to smear Judge Kavanaugh.
Sure enough a “secret letter” has mysteriously appeared, even though, according to the New York Times, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Ca.) apparently had the letter in hand last summer. The point, of course, of letting news leak that the letter had been referred to the Department of Justice is, at a minimum, to attempt to delegitimate Judge Kavanaugh, at “best” to delay his confirmation indefinitely.
As it happens yesterday pro-life Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky) said, “By trying to slime Judge Kavanaugh, the Democrats are only underscoring one of his most impressive skills: His widely acclaimed talent for thinking through all parties’ perspectives and engaging fairly with the full range of views regardless of his personal beliefs,” according to the Washington Examiner.
This morning pro-life Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said the committee will meet Thursday, Sept. 20, with the vote on reporting the Kavanaugh nomination set for that afternoon.

Republican Craig Wilcox and township assessor Mary Mahady are running to replace Althoff. The McHenry County GOP is expected to name Wilcox to fulfill the rest of Althoff's term in the interim.

Planned Parenthood: New president, same extreme agenda
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America today announced that Dr. Leana Wen, Baltimore city health commissioner, will succeed Cecile Richards as president of the nation’s largest abortion provider.
“Though it’s being largely ignored in media accounts, the appointment of a new president does not change the fact that Planned Parenthood’s primary focus is on abortion, with their clinics performing more than one-third of abortions annually in the United States,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “No doubt Dr. Wen will seek to continue promoting and expanding Planned Parenthood’s abortion empire.”

Inflicting 'harm' on women...by keeping clinics clean?
Responding to the appeals court, Planned Parenthood Action complained that Missouri was inflicting harm on "women's rights and freedoms," and even tied the court decision to the U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
But the state laws are not harming women, says Susan Klein of Missouri Right to Life.
"These are laws that are helping women," she tells OneNewsNow. "And the courts are looking at the benefits of these laws and obviously saw a benefit for these laws in Missouri, and how they were enforced from 2007 through 2016 until Planned Parenthood filed a complaint against them."
One has to wonder, Klein adds, why Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers oppose following regular health and safety regulations that every ambulatory surgical center has to follow.
"Why are they opposed to that?" she asks. "What is the difficulty in abiding by good health and safety regulations?"

Don’t use taxpayer money to buy aborted baby parts, pro-life investigators say
Federal research agencies’ purchase of fetal tissue and body parts from a company under investigation for illegally selling them has drawn criticism from the investigative journalism group that filmed undercover videos exposing the practice.
“Advanced Bioscience Resources is under federal investigation right now for colluding with Planned Parenthood to sell aborted baby body parts for profit,” David Daleiden, Center for Medical Progress lead, said Sept. 10. “It is unconscionable that the United States government is still paying top-dollar in taxpayer money for the freshest, most high-quality dismembered baby hearts, lungs, livers, and brains.”
“By custom-ordering late-term aborted baby body parts for sale from Planned Parenthood partners like (Advanced Bioscience Resources), the FDA is directly complicit in these abortions and implies that these kids are worth more to the U.S. government dead than alive,” Daleiden continued.

Study misleads on detrimental effects of abortion
A well-recognized pro-life research group is dissecting the latest study results from a known abortion proponent, and the two groups’ analysis are worlds apart.
The University of California-San Francisco research arm is rabidly pro-abortion and has issued study results heavily favoring abortion for a number of years.
Its latest analysis of results contends that almost all of the women surveyed who had had abortions were okay with the decision and did not suffer psychological harm – but this is not consistent with what professionals not partial to the abortion industry have observed.

‘Just a blob of cells’: Husband, abortion workers coerce woman to abort
One therapist who counseled post-abortive women commented on how so many of them did not want to abort. She said:
Of the many women I’ve counseled, I would say that well over 90% of them aborted their babies to please someone else: their husbands, boyfriends, parents, or peer group…. It’s a mockery to talk of a woman’s right to choose when she’s not the one doing the choosing.(4)
Sometimes these abusive men threaten violence. Sometimes they berate and harass the woman until she gives in. Some threaten to leave the woman if she doesn’t have an abortion. The woman is forced to choose between her baby and her relationship. Sometimes, a partner’s abandonment doesn’t just threaten emotional distress. A woman may be faced with raising her child as a single mother, without the income a partner would provide. She may be forced to find another place to live. Fear of living in poverty could be another factor driving her to abort.

Abortionist and clinic workers force woman to have abortion
I waited for a long time, almost 3 months before I called the clinic for an appointment. When I went in for my first appointment, I decided I couldn’t go through with it. They told me to go home and think about it.
I did, but I knew my parents would be so disappointed in me. The next day I went back. I was still upset, but they said I no longer had a choice. I started yelling. I told them I didn’t want the abortion anymore. The doctor got very angry. They gave me a sedative to calm me down, but I kept screaming. I thrashed around trying to get off the table, but the nurses pinned my arms and legs down by leaning on me. Finally they strapped restraints on me. I kept screaming, “I don’t want to kill my baby. Please don’t kill my baby.”

Pro-life majority found in recent poll
According to The Hill, a recent online poll on abortion conducted by Hill.TV and the HarrisX polling company “found that 41 percent of respondents believe that the procedure should be legal in limited circumstances, such as rape, incest and to save the life of the mother.”
Another 14% said abortion “should be illegal under all circumstances.”
Only 17% of the 1,000 registered voters agreed with the official policy of the Democratic Party—that “abortion should be legal under all circumstances.”

JB Pritzker's 3-alarm for Monday: Abortion is threatened with proposed HB 40 repeal
Democrat gubernatorial candidate JB Pritzker will veto any attempt to repeal the taxpayer funding of abortion, he said Monday.
Of course that's what he said. He's been endorsed by Planned Parenthood.
Despite the fact every Illinois voter knows well it would take an earth-shaking miracle for a repeal to make it through Illinois' Planned Parenthood-controlled Democrat majority, JB Pritzker reaffirmed his commitment to unlimited abortion...

Democrats grilling Kavanaugh all received money from abortion industry
The past several days, politically-minded Americans have been watching the Senate Judiciary Committee’s confirmation hearings of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Predictably, pro-life issues became central to some of the questioning. It wasn’t long before Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, chimed in, claiming Cavanaugh is a threat to Roe v. Wade (and even to birth control). These claims were sent to its email list multiple times this week, with a prominent link in each for people to donate to fight Kavanaugh’s nomination. Judging by the donation records of Planned Parenthood political action committees (PACs), it appears that the money they solicit is being funneled it right back into elections and votes they hope to buy. Planned Parenthood, of course, has a business interest in keeping abortion legal, and would therefore be against any Supreme Court appointee who is a Constitutional originalist like Kavanaugh.
Democratic members of the Senate Judiciary Committee have put on quite the show over the past week — some more than others. Each has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood, and Planned Parenthood has helped to fund them all.

Gloria Steinem Calls Abortion ‘Basis of Democracy’ in New Netflix Film
Democracy depends on the ability to end others’ lives before they’re even born, according to one famed feminist.
Netflix released a trailer for its new documentary, Reversing Roe, on Sept. 4. The timely teaser for the abortion law film comes during Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. The film hits computer screens Sept. 13, and appears to include interviews with abortion activists including Gloria Steinem.
The trailer gave a sneak peak of her comments.
“It’s the basis of democracy, that you control your own body,” she said in the film worried about Roe v. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court case that legalized abortion in the U.S. This comes as many in the media panic that Kavanaugh could enable the court to overturn Roe.
She’s right: the ability to control one’s own body is important. But abortion is about controlling someone else’s body – and ending his or her future.

International Planned Parenthood targets India’s youth with same strategy as in U.S.
As the country with the world’s largest adolescent population, India is a cash cow for Planned Parenthood’s abortion business, which helps population control enthusiasts’ achieve their eugenic goals.
Planned Parenthood has been relentless in its efforts to kill babies in India since 1936, the first time Margaret Sanger set foot in the country. Now, newly elected Director General of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Dr. Alvaro Bermejo is visiting India this week (September 4- 7). The reason for the visit, as reported by Business Wire, is quite straight forward. “India continues to be the second largest country in the world,” notes the publication. “19 percent of India’s population is in the 15-24 age group and over half a billion are under 25 years of age.” This translates to a perfect opportunity for Planned Parenthood to turn a profit by selling abortion. The strategy is...

Iowa pro-abortion gov candidate bought Planned Parenthood a building
A philanthropist who admittedly helped to purchase a building for Planned Parenthood to operate an abortion facility is now running for Governor of Iowa. Democrat Fred Hubbell is opposing incumbent Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R), who recently signed the state’s Heartbeat Bill. As the state’s previous Lt. Governor, Reynolds assumed the office after Governor Terry Branstad left to take a position with the Trump Administration as Ambassador to China.
Hubbell’s campaign website is open about his support of the abortion corporation, despite records (including court documents) showing that Planned Parenthood covers up for child sexual abusers. His website reads, “For over thirty years, Fred has worked to increase access to quality, affordable health care for every Iowan through his work with Planned Parenthood, and serving as chair of the Mid-Iowa organization in 1984….”
