U.S. congressmen propose bill to save baby Charlie Gard by making him U.S. resident
Two Congressmen announced that when Congress returns from recess, they will introduce a private bill to make Charlie Gard a permanent resident of the United States.
Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-OH, and Rep. Trent Franks, R-AZ, both strongly pro-life, said in a joint statement that they are introducing this bill to support the rights of Charlie's parents to continue to care for him.
