In his baby announcement earlier this week, a late night host slipped in a pro-life message.

During his show Monday evening, Jimmy Kimmel revealed that he and wife Molly McNearney are expecting baby number two together.

Kimmel began Jimmy Kimmel Live! by announcing that he will host the 89th Academy Awards ceremony in February. He added, “Also, another thing I wanted to mention, my wife is hosting a baby inside her body. So that’s exciting.”

That’s right, a “baby.” Not a “bunch of cells” nor a “cavity,” as some in the liberal media would have Americans believe.

Early Christmas present: Macy’s stops funding Planned Parenthood after pro-lifers complain

Macy's Store in New York
Macy's will no longer donate to or match employee donations to abortion giant Planned Parenthood, the corporate watchdog group 2ndVote announced Wednesday.

The victory belongs to the pro-life customers who expressed their concerns to Macy's, calling it "Another 'Miracle on 34th Street' at Macy's." Because of the Planned Parenthood baby parts trafficking scandal, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ford, and Xerox publicly distanced themselves from the abortion company as well.

Pro-Lifers Challenge Compelled Illinois Abortion Endorsement Law at Hearing

Circuit Court of Northern Illinois
Circuit Court of Northern Illinois
The free speech and religious liberty rights of Illinoisans are in the hands of Judge Eugene Doherty of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Northern Illinois, after Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) senior counsel Matt Bowman pled his case Wednesday afternoon.

Telling the courtroom the case “deserves more attention than the time available to me,” Doherty said he expected to announce his decision on Bowman’s motion for a preliminary injunction by no later than a status hearing Dec. 28.

Bowman’s motion, filed on behalf of three pregnancy help organizations and a pro-life physician, is one of two simultaneous challenges the state’s gutting of its Healthcare Right of Conscience Act.
If left standing, the act would force pro-life medical professionals—including as many as 130 nonprofit pregnancy help locations—to refer patients directly to abortion businesses and counsel patients as to what the legislation calls the “benefits” of abortions. …

Emmy Award in Hand, Aid for Women Hoping to Celebrate One More Win

Aid for Women
Chicago-based Aid for Women, which has served thousands of women each year since 1978, is celebrating an unusual victory after hauling in its first-ever Emmy at Saturday night’s Chicago-Midwest Emmy Awards.

Produced in partnership with Spirit Juice Videos, the award-winning video featured a former client, Janessa, who chose life for her son, Christian, when she was pregnant at age 19.

“I was 19 years old when I found out I was pregnant, and I was just in a state of shock,” Janessa says in the video. “I cried for, like, four months. It was going to be a very, very difficult time for me and I didn’t know how to handle it. I didn’t know who to reach out to, I didn’t know if I was going to be able to do it by myself, and it was just an overwhelming experience for me. I needed help.”

A mostly African-American crowd gathered outside Planned Parenthood's new "flagship" facility on Saturday to protest its racism and the eugenic legacy of its founder, Margaret Sanger.

"So many people are being healed by the truth being told," said Dr. Alveda King, the neice of Martin Luther King, Jr. and the director of Civil Rights for the Unborn. Along with three other post-abortive women, King shared how abortion hurt her.

Ohio 'heartbeat' abortion bill heads to governor's desk

Ohio Pro-Life Gov. John Kasich
Ohio Pro-Life Gov. John Kasich
An Ohio bill that would ban abortions once a fetal heartbeat can be detected is headed to the Ohio Gov. John Kasich's desk.

The House of Representatives voted to approve the "heartbeat bill" Tuesday night after it passed in the Senate earlier in the day.

This bill would be one of the nation's most stringent abortion restrictions. The legislation prohibits most abortions as early as six weeks into pregnancy after the first detectable heartbeat.

Gov. John Kasich, a pro-lifer, has concerns about whether the law would be constitutional and has not said whether he plans to sign the measure.

Satanic Temple says humane treatment of aborted babies “contradicts our fundamental beliefs”

Satanic Temple spokesperson Lucien Greaves
Satanic Temple spokesperson Lucien Greaves
Beginning, Monday, December 19, abortion clinics in Texas will no longer be free to depose of the remains of aborted babies as if they were medical waste. The baby’s remains would have to be either buried or cremated by hospitals or abortionists. (The rules won’t apply to miscarriages or abortions that take place at home.)

“I believe it is imperative to establish higher standards that reflect our respect for the sanctity of life,” said Texas pro-life Gov. Greg Abbott back in July. “This is why Texas will require clinics and hospitals to bury or cremate human and fetal remains. I don’t believe human and fetal remains should be treated like medical waste and disposed of in landfills.”

The impeding deadline prompted The Satanic Temple to threaten legal action in a post put up on the group’s Facebook account over the weekend.

The Satanic Temple believes burial rites are a well-established component of religious practice. This is undisputed in the entirety of US legal history. In addition, members of The Satanic Temple believe in the inviolability of the body and, as such, these rules contradict our fundamental beliefs. The First Amendment protects our right to practice our beliefs, and under the Religious Freedom Reform Act (RFRA), the State must present a compelling reason for why they want to enforce rules that inhibit adherence to our religious practices.

PPFA files suit against pro-life laws in three states

U.S. District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey
U.S. District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey
As part of the continuing fallout from last June’s Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt decision and as an example of pro-abortionists’ extremism, three different Planned Parenthood affiliates Wednesday joined the ACLU and the Center for Reproductive Rights in challenging laws in North Carolina, Alaska, and Missouri.

North Carolina’s law protects unborn babies 20 weeks gestational age and older with an exception for medical emergencies and if the woman’s life is at risk. There is an abundance of medical evidence that by this point the preborn is capable of experiencing unspeakable agony as she is torn apart.

Alaska’s law bars outpatient abortions after the first trimester of pregnancy.

Missouri’s law requires abortionists to have admitting privileges in a nearby hospital (in case of emergencies) and that abortion clinics meet the health and safety of standards of ambulatory surgical centers.

CDC: 35% of aborted babies are black

According to the CDC report, the rate of abortion among African-American women is far higher than among white American women. While black women make up only six percent of the U.S. population, they account for 35 percent of abortions reported.

That doesn't include unreported and underreported abortions. The CDC report includes only abortion disclosures from 29 states. Meanwhile, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming either "did not report, did not report by race/ethnicity, or did not meet reporting standards."

The Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives announced Thursday that they have made nine criminal and regulatory referrals against Planned Parenthood, other abortion businesses, universities, and fetal tissue companies.

Along with Planned Parenthood of Gulf Coast, the Select Panel referred StemExpress and DV Biologics, two medical research companies implicated in CMP's investigation, for illegally profiting from fetal body parts. Also referred to law enforcement were The University of New Mexico, an Arkansas abortion facility, an Ohio university, Advanced Bioscience Resources, and Presidential Women’s Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Don't expect a warm welcome from the HHS for Dr. Tom Price

Donald Trump's nominee for HHS secretary Dr. Tom Price
Donald Trump's nominee for HHS secretary Dr. Tom Price
Dr. Tom Price (left), who currently represents Georgia in the House of Representatives, is a pro-life physician who has worked hard to defund the abortion syndicate Planned Parenthood. That alone is enough to earn the president-elect's nominee for HHS secretary high praise from Marilyn Musgrave of the pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List.

"He is 100-percent pro-life," she emphasizes. "He'll never waiver on his core principles. He actually led the fight to defund Planned Parenthood."

The pro-life spokeswoman says her group is already lobbying Republicans in both the House and Senate to take a stand against using taxpayer dollars to continue funding the abortion giant.

Listening to Planned Parenthood head lecture about "reproductive rights"

University of Chicago Law School hosted a lecture by Cecile Richards
University of Chicago Law School lecture by Cecile Richards
This past Tuesday, the University of Chicago Law School hosted a lecture by Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood. It was co-sponsored by the school's Study of Gender and Sexuality. The event was part of the Ulysses and Marguerite Schwartz Memorial lecture series. It was free and open to the public, with about 350 attending. It appeared to be mostly students with a small group of journalists.

This from news release from the University of Chicago: "In 2016, the Supreme Court affirmed the right to safe and legal abortion. Planned Parenthood celebrated 100 years and the presidential election placed women's rights and autonomy front and center. In this lecture, Cecile Richards will discuss what 2016 meant for reproductive rights, and what 2017 has in store."

The Pro Life Action League had a protest just outside the venue with about 15 people including signs which read, "Cecile Richards: What about his future?" Those signs were next to large poster photos of an aborted baby boy.

‘What If I hadn’t been born?’ question infuriates pro-abortionists

Rachael Larimore
Rachael Larimore
A while back Slate senior editor Rachael Larimore, no dyed-in-the-wool pro-lifer, wrote a column titled, “Pro-Choicers Hate the “What if I Hadn’t Been Born” Question. Here’s Why” which touched off a flurry of comments.

And because she is not one of us, it made her trenchant observations all the more telling. Here is her beginning:

The pro-choice movement relies on a carefully crafted image to make its position seem responsible and caring: that women should be allowed to abort their unplanned pregnancies because unwanted children grow up poor, neglected, abused or some combination thereof. It can’t allow for the possibility that some “unwanted” children actually grow up in loving homes and become responsible, even successful, adults; or that couples who take responsibility for unplanned children can be as good of parents as couples who wait until they’re ready to have a family.

And when they are presented with evidence to the contrary, out comes the name-calling.

Pro-abortionists were furious.

Pro-abortion Nancy Pelosi remains House Minority Leader

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi
Under the category of “What is the definition of insanity–doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different results”–House Democrats this morning gave militant pro-abortionist Nancy Pelosi (Ca.) another term as House Minority Leader.

Pelosi needed a two-thirds vote to beat back the challenge of pro-abortion Tim Ryan (Ohio). The finally tally, taken by secret ballot, was 134-63.

During a media briefing prior to the leadership vote, Ryan said, “If we don’t wake up and smell the coffee, we’re going to be the minority party, the opposition party, for a long time to come,” adding, “That’s just the reality.”
