There are no longer consequences for abortionists if they attempt to complete abortions in places other than abortion clinics (which are no longer required to be licensed ambulatory surgical treatment centers) or hospitals. With the changes brought by the Illinois Reproductive Health Act, they may be able to commit abortions in literal back alleys if their "professional judgment" deems it acceptable.
