This bill amends the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971 and the Illinois Public Aid Code and removes a provision prohibiting the non-contributory portion of a health-benefits program from including the expenses of obtaining an abortion, induced miscarriage or induced premature birth. This bill removes all restrictions on tax payer funding of abortions.
