Abortion Documentary 'Beyond the Dark Valley'

Dallas Selected for Special Airings of Captivating Abortion Documentary 'Beyond the Dark Valley'

As the city where Roe v. Wade was originally filed, Dallas has been selected as the first city in America for a mass showing of a special documentary about the effects of abortion on women and men.  This documentary will air repeatedly around the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

"Beyond the Dark Valley" was co-produced by The Justice Foundation and Fresh Air Media.  Fresh Air Media produced Billy Graham's television specials for many years and, most recently, the Saddleback Civil Forum on the Presidency.

"Beyond the Dark Valley" educates viewers about the devastating effects of abortion.  Viewers who have experienced the pain of abortion will be referred for spiritual hope and healing in the Dallas metroplex through the toll-free National Helpline for Abortion Recovery (866-482-LIFE).  Working with the National Helpline, "Beyond the Dark Valley" also offers help for women who are in unexpected pregnancies by referring them to pregnancy care centers in their area.

"Beyond the Dark Valley" will air five times during January 2009, around the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, on Dallas ABC network affiliate station WFAA Channel 8.  The Justice Foundation has purchased the airtime.

In addition to sharing their painful stories of abortion, women and men will be sharing how they found hope, healing, and forgiveness for abortion through Jesus Christ.

Starting January 16, 2009, "Beyond the Dark Valley" can be previewed worldwide on the web at www.beyondthedarkvalley.org
