"It's important for taxpayers to understand that they are funding Planned Parenthood at the tune of $500 million, and Planned Parenthood uses those funds for their very nominal health services and it is now freeing up other donations that they receive through private donations or corporate donations," says Alison Centofante of Live Action, the organization behind the new report on Planned Parenthood. "Those donations are going to their political arm."
To put it another way, Live Action says Planned Parenthood is weaponizing taxpayers' money against them.
"By us funding Planned Parenthood with our taxpayer dollars," Centofante further explains, "we are freeing up other donations to be used to support pro-abortion candidates that go to Washington and in turn thanking Planned Parenthood by keeping their funding stream going."

US bishops endorse heartbeat abortion ban, pro-life congressman announces
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has endorsed legislation that would ban most abortions in the U.S., according to the bill’s lead sponsor.
The Heartbeat Protection Act would require abortionists to first test whether a fetal heartbeat can be detected, and then forbid committing an abortion if the answer is “yes.” It allows an exception only for life-threatening physical circumstances (expressly rejecting exceptions for “psychological or emotional” health). Physicians who break the law would face up to five years in prison and/or a fine; women seeking abortions would not be punished.

Planned Parenthood wants you to stay home on election day
Elections have consequences. Pro-abortion activists know that full well after the election of President Trump. His efforts to advocate on behalf of America's most vulnerable citizens – unborn babies – have eclipsed those of any previous president in our nation's history.
The election of pro-life governors and state legislatures has resulted in over 600 pro-life laws enacted during the last nine years. Planned Parenthood knows that its federal funding is in jeopardy as long as pro-lifers control the House and Senate. That's why they're investing $20 million to gain control of Congress. This threat is real.

Planned Parenthood called out for ‘birthright citizenship’ tweet while preventing births in abortion
Planned Parenthood has waded into another American debate over immigration, inspiring pro-lifers to raise another wave of questions and critiques about the abortion giant’s priorities.
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump revealed he plans to issue an executive order ending the automatic granting of U.S. citizenship to children of illegal immigrants born on American soil. Both parties once denounced the doctrine of “birthright citizenship,” but today there is intense debate over whether the concept was ever intended by the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, and whether a president can eliminate it unilaterally.

VIDEO: New report details Planned Parenthood’s ‘political money laundering scheme’
Live Action has released a new report summarizing Planned Parenthood election efforts, dubbed as a “political money laundering scheme” to defeat pro-life candidates and elect pro-abortion politicians to carry out its agenda. Live Action News has previously documented that the abortion corporation’s political arms vowed to spend $20 million on their own in the 2018 midterms and $30 million in a consortium with other groups in a campaign called “Win Justice.”
“While Planned Parenthood and its political arms are separate on paper, because taxpayers are forced to give the abortion chain over $500 million a year, donors are freed up to direct their money to Planned Parenthood’s political agenda rather than to fund what nominal health services Planned Parenthood itself provides,” Live Action president Lila Rose stated in a press release.

Powerful documentary shows doctors’ push to abort babies with Down syndrome
Learning that your child has Down syndrome shouldn’t be something that causes fear and grief, but that’s the response many parents have. While the adjustment an unexpected diagnosis brings can be difficult, the experience is often made far worse due to negative bias that is endemic in the medical community. But now, Down syndrome families are speaking out and demanding better treatment.
Nothing Down, founded by Julie Willson and Shannon Daughtry to change the way the world views Down syndrome, fights negative stigmas and changes the conversation about Down syndrome and intellectual disabilities through filmmaking. They have released 14 documentaries and awareness videos, and their latest project takes aim at the medical community.

Federal Court Permanently Ends California Law that Forced Pregnancy Centers to Advertise for Abortion
A California law forcing pro-life pregnancy centers to advertise for abortion was brought to a permanent end Friday evening, thanks to an order by a federal district court.
With that, the 2015 law, AB 775, which essentially was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in NIFLA v. Becerra in June, is now officially dead, unable to compel pro-abortion speech from life-affirming pregnancy centers.
“NIFLA v. Becerra is not just about whether or not to hand out abortion information on a piece of paper or post it on the walls of pro-life centers,” said NIFLA Vice President Anne O’Connor, J.D. who acted as co-counsel in the lawsuit on behalf of the national network of pro-life pregnancy centers. “It is about the right belonging to all American citizens to be free from government-compelled speech, and from being coerced into promoting a message that contradicts their values.”

‘The Abolition of Woman’: Novelist explains how radical feminism betrays women
Pro-life author Fiorella Nash (pictured) calls herself a feminist. When discussing the near-religious fervor of the contemporary women’s movement for abortion, she is careful to call abortion advocates “radical feminists.” This is because Nash believes feminism is not wrong in itself but has merely lost its way.
“It’s become so ideologically obsessed with abortion and a very narrow view of women’s sexuality that it has drifted far away from its original purpose,” Nash stated.

A plea to wake up to push for more deaths
A longtime opponent of euthanasia warns that America must wake up to the non-stop push for the practice and actively oppose it.
Recently the World Medical Association dropped consideration of a proposal to change a current policy and support doctors helping patients kill themselves.
Rita Marker, attorney and executive director of the Patients Rights Counsel, cautions that's not the end of the matter.
Marker, Rita (Patents Rights Council)"We have to be really clear: Those who are promoting doctor-prescribed suicide and euthanasia by lethal injection are not going to be through, ever," she tells OneNewsNow. "This is going to be ongoing and ongoing and ongoing."

Center for Medical Progress submits evidence Planned Parenthood may have lied to Congress
The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) submitted evidence to a federal judge showing that Planned Parenthood may have lied to Congress and doctored evidence about the selling of aborted fetal body parts, which is illegal. CMP is asking the judge to force Planned Parenthood to produce its original records and invoices, as Planned Parenthood and its partner, Advanced Bioscience Resources, claimed to give the same invoices, but discrepancies were found.
“[B]oth ABR and Planned Parenthood produced what purported to be the same set of invoices, ‘but they produced different versions of the same invoice’,” CMP said in a press release. “Additionally, ‘the revenue totals and procurement totals’ for fetal body parts ‘do not match’ the totals that Planned Parenthood reported to Congressional investigations two years ago. The filing asks the Court ‘to verify that [Planned Parenthood] are not producing fabricated evidence’.”

Abortion groups want FDA to allow abortion pill use without medical supervision
The abortion lobby is planning to expand abortion access by seeking to change the FDA’s safety strategy for dispensing the abortion pill regimen known as RU486. Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry present abortion as “safe and simple,” but one look at forms they require women to sign reveals the real truth. Missed abortion, blood clots, infection and even death are among the risks associated with medication abortion. Despite these risks, the abortion lobby is pushing for “home use,” “mail order,” OTC, and “telabortion.”
The abortion pill regimen is made up of two drugs: Misoprostol and Mifeprex, which is currently regulated by the FDA under a system known as REMS, an acronym that stands for Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies. The REMS document states that, “Mifeprex must be dispensed to patients only in certain healthcare settings, specifically clinics, medical offices, and hospitals, by or under the supervision of a certified prescriber.” The pill’s manufacturer, Danco Laboratories, must “[e]nsure that Mifeprex is not distributed to or dispensed through retail pharmacies or other settings….”

Mail-order abortion pill service may violate drug laws, FDA says
A European online service that has been quietly offering mail-order abortion pills to women in the United States for several months is being investigated by the FDA for possibly violating abortion drug laws. Aid Access is a website that says it offers abortion-inducing drugs to healthy women who are nine weeks pregnant or less.
If women qualify for the pills through online consultations, Aid Access writes them prescriptions for the two abortion-inducing drugs, misoprostol and mifepristone. These prescriptions are filled at a pharmacy in India, which mails the drugs to women in the U.S.
The FDA, however, has issued warnings that women should not buy mifepristone online, “because you will bypass important safeguards designed to protect your health (and the health of others).”

NFL star Benjamin Watson donates ultrasound machines to save lives
NFL tight end and Super Bowl champion Benjamin Watson, who plays for the New Orleans Saints, has long been an outspoken defender of life. But he also puts his money where his mouth is, making generous donations, like 3D ultrasound machines, to pregnancy help centers. He has also spoken at the March for Life, where he implored men to do their part in preventing abortion. “We as men must stand up for the lives of the innocent and their mothers in crisis,” he said. “As important as women have been in championing this cause, you men must rise up and lead the charge. Even if it wasn’t demonstrated for you by a father, you can be different. You can change the course of generations. Men: we can be silent no more!”
Watson recently announced that he’s taken action again to help expectant mothers and fathers choose life. “Earlier this year we felt led to serve expecting mothers, fathers and their unborn children by placing ultrasound machines at at health services providers around the country,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “So many men and women struggle with making decisions for life but we know from experience the power and encouragement seeing inside the womb offers.”

CBS poll: 72% of young women favor more abortion restrictions
In anticipation of the upcoming midterm elections, CBS and Refinery29 teamed up for a poll concerning young American women’s voting trends and views on certain issues. They began publicizing it August 13. While some media reports of the findings focused more on the political aspects, such as the Trump Administration, the poll revealed much more. Namely, that many young women don’t fit the mold that the media and politicians often assume.
The poll, conducted by YouGov, looked at women from the ages of 18 to 35 and found that only 28% want abortion “legal in all cases.” Other results included: 34% want abortion “legal in most cases,” 25% want abortion “illegal in most cases,” and 13% want abortion “illegal in all cases.”
In the end, that means 72% are likely in favor of some kind of abortion restriction.

Teens targeted by animated Netflix ‘Big Mouth’ show promoting abortion, Planned Parenthood
Vulgar and crude, the animated Big Mouth TV series on Netflix is now promoting Planned Parenthood with a special episode devoted to America's largest abortion provider. The program, which aired during Big Mouth's second season, is actually called The Planned Parenthood episode.
The cartoon-style show then launches into a series of skits extolling the services that Planned Parenthood offers, but not before suggesting that anyone who is opposed to Planned Parenthood is homophobic.

Gov't seeing value in abstinence ed?
Mary Ann Mosack, president and CEO of Ascend, says the 2019 federal appropriations bill contains $35 million for Sexual Risk Avoidance Education, which is $10 million more than the previous year. She says Congress introduced a line item for SRAE back in 2012 with $5 million, and it has incrementally increased the amount each year since. In addition to the line item funding, there is $75 million in Title V block grants, which brings the total to $110 million for abstinence education.
"Congress was increasingly becoming aware of the value of these programs and willing to put funding behind their belief," Mosack tells OneNewsNow.

New website offers to ship abortion pills to U.S. women
A website which aims to provide U.S. women with abortion pills without seeing a doctor in person started operations this week.
Known as “Aid Access,” the website purports to connect pregnant women with a "doctor" for an online consultation via the internet, before being supplied with abortifacients mifepristone and misoprostol by mail. The website was created by Netherlands abortion activist Rebecca Gomperts. The Aid Access website offers a troubling explanation of who the organization seeks to serve and how, including minors who want to hide their pregnancies from their parents
The women then take the pills at home, without the oversight of a medical doctor.

Alabama top court judge urges Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade
On October 19th, the Alabama Supreme Court unanimously ruled in the case of Jessie Phillips v. State of Alabama that “the value of the life of an unborn child is no less than the value of the lives of other persons.” In a concurring opinion, Justice Parker boldly called on the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.
“I urge the Supreme Court of the United States to reconsider the Roe exception and to overrule this constitutional aberration,” wrote the Alabama Supreme Court judge, and recommended that the Court “return the power to the states to fully protect the most vulnerable among us.”
