The plan, titled “Reproductive Health Care and Justice for All,” takes a variety of steps to normalize, legalize, and distribute abortion services as far as possible. The plan includes codifying Roe v. Wade into law, making birth control and abortion taxpayer-funded under medicare for all, limiting states' abilities to pass pro-life legislation, and repealing the Hyde and Helms amendments.
His plan would go as far as to ban abstinence-only sex education, prevent pro-life pregnancy centers from receiving Title X funding, and restore US funding to the United Nations Population Fund, a colonialist fund designed to make the western problem of abortion an issue in less-developed nations.
These are by far the most radical pro-abortion ideas a strong presidential candidate has ever expressed, and pro-life advocates need to be aware of the growing support for ideas like this.
