1400 Flowers to be Placed in Front of White House Today in Honor of 1400 African American Children Slain Each Day Through Abortion A prayer vigil and memorial is to be lead by well known civil rights activist Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The Vigil will take place today, Friday Jan. 23 at 12:00 PM on the Pennsylvania side of the White House. This event is part of a major pro-life witness challenging President Obama to stand for social justice and human rights for all Americans called the Birmingham Letter Project.
